I just read about your sad news but relieved to learn from Lynn that it was a engine/generator problem not a health problem. Although this mechanical problem is serious. By now ( Sunday 22nd ) hopefully you are at Port Angeles.

Glad to hear that the “sad news” is something that can be replaced aka a piece of machinery. People, however, cannot be replaced… Thanks Lynn for the update.

To all that is reading this the problem is the generator/engine and nothing else. I talked to Chuck today, though an adventure everything is fine.
The title and the first paragraph was scary and hard to read on when you are this close to the crew. Though I understand that at this point the generator is your friend and very critical to your passage it is still a piece of machinery that when you get to port,
will be replaced.
I love you all and my heart is finally going back in place after it fell and stopped beating.

Sorry to hear about your continued engine woes. Think it should be named “The Little Devil” with all the problems she has been causing lately. Know you won’t be posting to conserve battery but you should know we continue to monitor your progress and read your blog from everyone. When you read this, the problems caused by “That Little Devil” will be yet another memory and you will be in your hotel trying to understand why the building does not sway…

How good it was to receive your update today and know that you are all doing fine in spite of all the little problems compounded. Before you know it you will be back on terre ferme and I sure will be happy to get that good word. Sounds like Quite an adventure and again you are in my thoughts and prayers. My heart sank when you said you had sad news and then you don’t tell the rest. I guess we will just have to await to know what this is.
